Much-loved poet and author Simon Armitage will read from his new hardback publication, Seeing Stars, at this exclusive event for YSP Friends. Join us on this late-summer evening at 6.30pm for drinks and nibbles on the terrace before the reading and book signing from 7.00pm.

David Nash Study Day

Join YSP Curator Dr Helen Pheby to find out more about David Nash, his work and how this extensive YSP project was realised. Participants meet at 10.00am for coffee and introductions, followed by a curatorial presentation then discussion and analysis of key texts. After the lunch break (12.30pm to 1.15pm)* Helen will lead a tour and continued discussion around the exhibition, concluding with a final discussion 3.30-4pm.

*Participants are invited to either buy lunch in the YSP restaurant or bring their own picnic. Please note that lunch is not included in the cost of the day.
