We are pleased to offer the exciting opportunity to complete a five day bronze casting course that simplifies the process, enabling the participant to learn complex casting techniques.
There is a basis structure to the course dictated by the process consisting largely of practical demonstrations and hands on practice, with the chance to have your questions answered at each stage. At the end of the course each participant can take home two hand sized bronze works of their own creation.
- The five-day Bronze Casting course will run from 10:00–16:00 each day in YSP’s metal workshop.
- The course is suitable for all abilities (ages 18 and upwards), all that is required is enthusiasm and suitable clothing. All materials and PPE (gloves & masks) are provided. Strong or steel toe capped boots are advised.
- Please not that no concessionary or bursary places are available on this course.
- A minimum deposit of £150 is required when booking, the balance can then be paid anytime up to 30 days before the course starts.
