More Information

Museums at Night is the annual celebration when hundreds of museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage sites open their doors after hours.

YSP invites you to an interactive family-friendly Land Rover tour, after normal opening hours, to discover works in the open air with our experienced Art Explorer, the YSP Sculpture Safari Guide.

Families will meet the guide and embark on an overland journey with Land Rover and adventure across the YSP grounds, unlocking stories and messages from a fascinating cast of characters. Children and adults will become Sculpture Safari Art Explorers, recording their discoveries on this story adventure. Come prepared with an active imagination and report your findings at the end of the tour. In association with Make a Wish Entertainment and supported by Land Rover

Please note, car seats are not provided. If your child is required to use a car seat it will be necessary to bring it with you. This event is open to all with the main focus on family groups. Suitable for ages 5–14yrs.

The weather conditions outside will not affect your experience but please remember to wear sensible footwear or wellies as there will be a series of stop-offs during the tour and the event may include a short walk through the Park to reach the sculptures. Sensible, hard wearing footwear and outdoor clothing is advised. Due to the uneven terrain, this event is not accessible to wheelchair users and is not ideal for those with mobility issues.
  • Please meet at YSP Centre 10 minutes before your booked tour time
  • Please be aware that places in the Land Rovers may be shared with other groups. However all vehicles will travel together in convoy and stop-off at the same places at the same time
  • Families can enjoy the grounds of the Park until 21.00
  • Free parking after 17.00
