Starting with a sculptural installation in the Bothy Gallery, Assembly
evolved through building a community of participants around an architectural project, informed by context and audience. The result was an artist studio that sought to make aspiration visible, reflecting on how physical and social spaces are created as we make our way in life guided by ideals and hopes.
Currently based in London and Berlin, Anton Burdakov
studied neuroscience at the University of Cambridge and sculpture at the Royal College of Art in London. Through object-making and site-specific installations, his work explores transitions between spaces and states, focusing on the spatial dimensions of personal relationships and goals.
