Visual education has taken art out of the gallery into school grounds and onto the street. Collaborations between pupils, teachers, architects, planners and artists have created new learning opportunities. You can learn to draw, but you can also draw to learn! Agent of Change shows how revolutionary initiatives have prompted change in art, design and environmental education.

Agent of Change – along with Adams' latest book, Visual Literacy, to be published in autumn 2015 by the Loughborough Design Press – is the most recent acquisition by the National Arts Education Archive (NAEA) at YSP.

Join the (R)EVOLUTION conference on 17 October for an opportunity to acknowledge the NAEA's importance in conserving material from key educators and their students to create a significant body of knowledge to guide future practice.
