Open Call: Beyond Boundaries: Art by Email
Yorkshire Sculpture Park
7 to 29 January 2017

Artists based in the Middle East who would find it difficult to travel to the UK are invited to propose artwork that can be sent by email. The exhibition Beyond Boundaries: Art by Email will be curated by Yorkshire Sculpture Park and ArtRole in partnership with the Caspian Arts Foundation.

We welcome proposals of photography and film, but also sculpture files that can be 3D printed, performance by instruction and other creative responses.

The exhibition will run alongside the wider event De[con]struction Reconstruction: Living in a State of Creative Uncertainty, a collaborative effort between UK-based organisations Caspian Arts Foundation, Asia House, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Kurdistan-based organisation, ArtRole.

This open call is eligible to artists from the broad region of the Middle East. No discrimination will be exercised in the selection process, whether due to gender, ethnicity, religious background or nationality.
