Visiting YSP in the late 70's and seeing Henry Moore sculptures in a natural setting. We visit regularly and have taken delight in the developments. Once producing wood constructed animals. Another, our names on Walk of Art and recently marveling at J.Turrell constructions. A constant pleasure.

A dancing hare in 1997. We moved to York in December 1996 and visited the Sculpture Park shortly afterwards. My son, Joe, then 3, spent most of his time copying the pose of different sculptures. His favourites were Molecule Man and the dancing hare- images I treasure, and now 10 years later there's a hare dancing on an anvil.

We visited YSP for the first time on June 1st. Since then I have been encouraging colleagues, friends and family members to ‘drop in’. I like the accessibility, in every sense, from the cost to the intimacy of some of the exhibition spaces. I bought Parkland and have used it with my students. I teach students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. Amazing! They want to have a ‘go’. I will send you images when we have some ‘products’. By the way did you know that you have wood nymphs? See image.

This was my very first visit to the Sculpture Park with my dad, my mum and Aunty Al. It was wonderful being pushed around the grounds by my dad. Mum took a picture of him with what she said was his emotional block. I particularly enjoyed the Andy Goldsworthy exhibits. They made me smile a lot. I can't wait to visit again!
