‘Turning Toward Living’ is a collection of circle poems written by artist, poet and publisher Alec Finlay and other contributors. His press Morning Star (1990 -2003) has published more than 50 titles.
A series of circle poems are available to collect as part of Finlay’s project, circlesthroughthepath, at YSP. circlesthroughthepath is a walk through the park and a poetic mapping of the landscape. Instructions for the walk are available in a free leaflet from the YSP Centre. Along the way you will encounter seven 'letterboxes', each containing a rubber stamp, ink and a circle poem. You can collect these by stamping them in the leaflet.
