YSP is a centre of excellence in the display, creation and study of sculpture and art in the landscape. Established in 1977, YSP was Britain’s first permanent sculpture park and has developed an important reputation as a leading international open-air gallery. YSP’s 500 acres of historic parkland and gardens were landscaped in the 18th and 19th centuries. Today they provide a rich environment for the best examples of modern and contemporary sculpture by UK and international artists. This book examines the collections held at the Park, with images of the works and notes on the artists and their careers, including Henry Moore and Antony Gormley. A brief history of the Bretton Estate and maps of the Park are also included.

Texts by Clare Lilley, Helen Pheby, Angie de Courcy Bower and Adrianne Neil.
