Commissioned exclusively for sale at YSP, this beautiful limited edition print is made with slick black oil-based ink on metallic gold paper. It features Zara Wood’s new character the Lady of the Seas, who was created in response to YSP’s history as a private pleasure ground. In 1782 Sir Thomas Wentworth, who owned the Bretton Estate, wrote a letter telling of the Aurora, the ship he sailed on the lakes here. Zara has fabricated an alternative history where the Lady of the Seas herself is at the helm of the ship.
