Nature’s Gallery

YSP are currently developing ‘Nature’s Gallery’, an online field guide to wildlife and plants at YSP. Help to illustrate the field guide by taking photographs of animals and plants you discover during your visit and e-mail them to nina.rogers@ysp.co.uk.

 

 

 

 

Walking with Bees - A Co-op Members Bee-Spoke Day

Join artist Rebecca Chesney and local bee experts for exciting activities including:

  • Heritage tours of the stunning Bretton Estate, visiting the artist and local experts at work in the Nature Reserve (advance booking required)
  • Hands-on family workshops making creative houses for bees (advance booking required)
  • A tour around the National Arts Education Archive, meeting our archivist who will introduce the collections, providing a fascinating glimpse into educational heritage (advance booking required)
  • Bee-Line activity trail
  • Special screening of The Co-operative film, Vanishing of the Bees.

This is a Co-operative Members’ bee-spoke day; members will receive priority booking.

Wakefield Summer of Culture - YSP Out and About

The Summer of Culture is a 4-month festival from June – September 2010, when Wakefield will celebrate its cultural heritage through an exciting programme of cultural activities in the district supported by Wakefield Council.
