Due to the sell-out success of the first workshops in November, YSP are holding a further 4 workshops in conjunction with Clothkits, to produce and take away either a bag or a cushion exclusively designed by Rob Ryan and printed by Clothkits. Each session is 1.5hours long and booking is essential as places are limited. No materials are needed and only basic sewing skills are required as guidance is given throughout the day. 26 June 2010 | Lynsey Walters – Bag making workshop

Lynsey is a talented, young textile designer from Edinburgh. She uses the traditional craft techniques of hand-felting and embroidery to create jewellery, scarves and handbags. Each piece is vibrant and whimsical, and uses materials from merino wool and silk tulle to organza and linen. During the day you will work with the artist to create your own Lynsey Walters designed bag.
