Admission

Admission to YSP, grounds and all gallery exhibitions is free of charge.

Parking

The only charge YSP asks of visitors is a £4 per day car parking fee, Blue badge holders park free of charge.

As a registered charity, Yorkshire Sculpture Park raises all its own funds and makes no charge for admission into the grounds or galleries. Car parking fees are an important source of revenue for the Park, going directly towards the running and upkeep of this 500 acre art gallery. If you require change please visit the shop, there are no cash machines on site. There is no public parking (except for blue badge holders) at Longside Gallery. Visitors may use the free shuttle service to Longside or follow the designated walking route. 

Dogs

We welcome caring dog owners and dogs have access to over 350 acres at YSP. For health and safety reasons, however, dogs are not permitted in the buildings or Bothy and Formal Gardens, with the exception of assistance dogs. Please abide by the Countryside Code and local bye-laws: dogs must be kept on leads and under control at all times. Use dog fouling bins provided.

How to Find YSP

Situated on the A637, one mile from junction 38 of the M1, with Leeds Sheffield and Manchester no more than an hour away. Download directions here or visit www.transportdirect.info for a journey planner

By train: Wakefield Westgate is the nearest main line station, around 7 miles from YSP. A taxi from the station costs approx £10, book online at www.wakefieldcars.com. London King's Cross to Wakefield takes around 2 hours.
