Shopping at YSP

The spacious and tranquil YSP shop is housed in the award-winning Visitor Centre.

The shop plays host to many beautiful ranges of gifts which include contemporary craft, art and design books, locally sourced food, children’s toys and educational products, and a wide range of gardening items.

Alongside these, we work with a number of individual artists to promote their products, the latest of which is Rob Ryan, the London-based artist who produces breathtakingly delicate paper cuts and beautiful screen prints, and whose work encompasses a wealth of media from ceramic tiles to fabrics, jewellery, clothing, plates, mugs and tea towels. 

Collaborations also include Sheffield-based master metalworker, David Mellor Design, who have produced a collection of well-designed, everyday objects and kitchen equipment, along with the German-based furniture manufactures, Vitra, who produce classic furniture by Charles and Ray Eames, George Nelson and Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec.

 
We have a programme of two monthly-changing showcases of contemporary craft and applied arts which highlight the work of new and up-and-coming artists, alongside an ever-changing stock of beautifully designed hand-made items from UK and international artists.
