More Information
Hanging Trees, built into one of the estate's historic ha-has, reveals the layered histories of the land; Shadow Stone Fold remains as a sculpture, shelter and marker of farming activity; the imposing Outclosure in Round Wood physically illustrates the act of making places inaccessible by enclosing a circle of land within a high, dry stone wall.
These permanent, site specific works in the landscape resulted from the Award Winning Andy Goldsworthy exhibition, which was generously sponsored by Roger Evans.
